Kurt is the Senior Attorney at Kurt Bennett Attorneys, the firm he founded in 2000. Since its beginnings, Kurt has been a zealous advocate for hundreds of clients, representing people from all walks of life. From stay at home parents to professional athletes, each client gets the highest level of attention and representation. Kurt has been at the forefront of "data law" and how court case information is stored, disseminated, and utilized in the 21st Century. As such, Kurt has been a frequent faculty member of Lorman, NBI, the Criminal Justice Institute, King County Bar Association, and Washington State Bar Association to teach and update lawyers and judges on current trends in Washington Law. In addition, Kurt has been requested to testify before committees of the Washington Legislature on proposed legislation.

Since 2009, Kurt has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the King County District Court, where he has presided over thousands of cases at all stages of proceedings. This experience gives Kurt valuable perspective on his firm's cases.

Kurt prides himself on training the associate attorneys at his firm. Kurt seeks out only the best and brightest, holding them to his own high standard of excellence. Many of his associates grow to become champions of the legal profession in their own right.

Kurt is also an ordained minister and seeks to bring wisdom to his clients and their situations. Kurt knows that many problems need compassion and understanding, not judgement and condemnation. Kurt has gained a reputation for his creative solutions to problems that enable all parties to move forward constructively. Kurt is a strong believer in redemption and prides himself on helping his firm's clients move beyond their pasts and into bright futures.

In addition to the practice of law, Kurt is an avid musician, outdoorsman, and his favorite - being a parent of three teenagers.
